Australian Citizenship Ceremonies are hosted by Council for residents who have applied to become Australian citizens through the Department of Home Affairs.

Once your citizenship application has been approved by the Department of Home Affairs, you will be invited to attend a ceremony. Attendance to a ceremony to become a Australian Citizen is by invitation only. A letter from Council is sent to candidates approximately four weeks prior to the ceremony date.
