Celebrate Seniors Week in the Lockyer Valley
Seniors Week is an opportunity for older people to explore programs and services, events and activities and connect with people of all ages.
If you're over 55 and living in the Lockyer Valley, then make sure this year's Seniors Week celebrations are one to remember.
With nine days of events and activities on offer, Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor Tanya Milligan said it was important to recognise the value seniors made to the community.
Seniors Week is a chance to try new things and remain active and engaged in your local community.
It also gives our seniors the chance to connect and socialise, which is extremely important.
This year we have a few new events on offer, which I'm sure will be well received.
The Mystery Bus Tour, Gatton and Laidley Luncheons are extremely popular each year so it's important you make a booking to ensure you don't miss out, Mayor Milligan said.
A full range of the activities to be held in the Lockyer Valley during the week are available below and bookings open tomorrow, Wednesday 19 July at 9am.
