Esteemed judge on board
Photographer, helicopter pilot, property developer and fashion designer, Robyn Hills will judge this year's Lockyer Valley Business, Training and Apprenticeship Awards.
Mayor Tanya Milligan said Council was thrilled to have the esteemed entrepreneur on board for this year's Awards.
Robyn is a lecturer in photography and business around Australia, writes for professional photography magazines and has a long list of group and solo exhibitions including Tokyo, New York and Paris.
At the time, she was the youngest person to achieve the title of Master of Photography and the first female to win Australian Professional Photographer of the Year.
Robyn prides herself on getting things done on time, while bringing out the best in her team and I am confident she will be the perfect person to judge this year's Awards, Mayor Milligan said.
Based at the Sunshine Coast, Robyn has always been a high achiever. At the age of 22 she was a State Finalist in the Young Achiever of the Year Awards.
Being fascinated with business and how money works, Robyn purchased her first investment at 16. Robyn is a passionate volunteer and has spent time in remote Aboriginal communities and orphanages in Africa and Cambodia. She has held previous positions as a mentor of Sunshine Coast Business Women, Australian Institute of Professional Photography and countless high school students, TAFE students and Rotary Exchange students.
The Lockyer Valley Business Training and Apprenticeship Awards will be held at the Gatton Shire Hall on Saturday 22 October.
