Lockyer Multicultural Festival
The multitude of diversities that make up the Lockyer Valley will come together to celebrate later this month.
This year's Lockyer Multicultural Festival is set to once again showcase the many different cultural backgrounds that call the region home.
Council's Mayor Tanya Milligan said the festival, to be held on Sunday 29 May, would be sure to attract strong crowds.
Every year the Lockyer Multicultural Festival is a draw card for many in the region, regardless of their nationality or age and I'm sure this year will be no different.
It is a wonderful opportunity to participate in culturally diverse activities, try a range of food options from across the world and enjoy unique entertainment.
There's so much to see and do so make sure you come along.
Entertainment planned for the day includes:

- Cooking demonstrations, African drumming workshops, poetry and a fashion parade
- Jumping castle, face painting and craft activities for the kids.
The Festival prides itself on promoting unity and harmony within the region as well as showcasing a fabulous array of culturally-diverse activities, Cr Milligan said.
