Be a part of the Festival of Cultures
The multitude of diversities that make up the Lockyer Valley will be celebrated in May – and Council needs your help to make this event a reality!
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said Council would host the Lockyer Valley Festival of Cultureson Sunday, 25 May.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have so many different cultural backgrounds that call our region home.
“This Festival is all about celebrating our region’s cultures and promoting intercultural connections, but to do that we’re putting a call out for expressions of interest to hold activities, information stalls, cultural displays, or cultural performances at the event.
“It will give people the opportunity to participate in activities that come from these culturally diverse backgrounds, with the greater aim to share, celebrate, participate and connect,” Mayor Milligan said.
