Celebrate 2018 Book Week across the Lockyer Valley
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Libraries will mark Book Week this month and you're invited to join in the celebrations.
Come along to the Gatton and Laidley Libraries on Tuesday 21 August for a free event.
The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) brings children and books together to celebrate CBCA Book Week each year.
Arts and Culture Portfolio Councillor Michael Hagan said this year's theme was Find your treasure.
We're inviting youngsters to come along for a special story time and morning tea.
Book Week is an important celebration of children's literature and the vital role books play in the lives of our young people, Cr Hagan said.
