Celebrate outstanding customer service in the Lockyer Valley
Have you had a positive customer-service experience with a local business?
If so, why not nominate them in this year's Heritage Bank People's Choice Award.
Voting for the People's Choice Award, as part of this year's Lockyer Valley Business Training and Apprenticeship Awards, opens on 31 August and Council's Mayor Tanya Milligan is encouraging customers to get their votes in.
Customer-service is an essential component to the shopping experience and that's what the People's Choice Award is all about - recognising the positive experiences that residents encounter.
The Lockyer Valley is home to first-rate businesses and I am confident the votes will stream in.
Every shopping experience should always be pleasant and straightforward and that's what Lockyer Valley businesses pride themselves on, she said.
Voting will close at COB on 21 September 2016.
Businesses interested in being involved in the Heritage Bank People's Choice Award can contact Lockyer Valley Regional Council on 07 5466 3505 or 1300 005 872. Promotional material, including flyers and counter cards to promote the voting process to customers, is available for collection from the Council office at Gatton or Laidley.
Eight finalists will be determined by popular vote and the overall winner will be determined by a mystery shopping experience. Finalists of Heritage Bank People's Choice Awards will be published in the Gatton Star on 28 September. Each finalist will receive two tickets to the Gala Presentation Dinner on 22 October.
Vote for your favourite business and you will go into the draw to win a $100 gift voucher at a local business of your choice. The wining business of the Heritage Bank People's Choice Award will take home a prize pack to the value of $500.
The Lockyer Valley Business Training and Apprenticeship Awards will be held at the Gatton Shire Hall on Saturday 22 October.
