Celebrate the coming of the festive season at the Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols.
Proudly hosted by Lockyer Valley Regional Council and in partnership with the Lockyer Valley Ministers Association, the event will be held at the Lake Apex Parklands, Gatton from 6pm on Saturday 28 November 2020.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said the Carols were the perfect opportunity to enjoy the company of family and friends while sharing in this special Christmas tradition.
So many of us have spent a large portion of this year disconnected from our families, friends and our communities.
While the pandemic is by no means over, we hope this is an opportunity for everyone to come together in a safe way and reflect on what has been a year like no other.
We should all be proud of how far we've come this year and the resilience we've all shown.
We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you at the Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols, Mayor Milligan said.
Enjoy a mix of traditional Christmas Carols performed by local musicians, as well as a timeslot by folk and country singer Nathan Walmsley. Gates will open at 6pm, with the Carols to commence at 6.30pm. BYO camp chair or picnic rug, picnic food and glow sticks and enjoy this free family event. Hot and cold drinks and ice cream will be on sale.
