Council launches all new Tourism Guide
The Lockyer Valley has a new-look Tourism Guide, and it's just in time for the holiday season!
Local tourism operators came together last night for the official launch of the Tourism Guide and Council's Mayor Tanya Milligan said the response was overwhelmingly positive.
We have taken a new approach to this guide and, for that reason; it will now stretch over two years.
If you're unsure of what experiences or accommodation options we have to offer in the Lockyer Valley, the Tourism Guide is a must-have.
It outlines all you need to know on lookouts to museums, family attractions, scenic parks and everything in between, Mayor Milligan said.
Lockyer Valley Food Ambassador and Celebrity Chef, Alastair McLeod was on-hand for the launch.
He shared his desire to see the Lockyer Valley continue to develop as a food tourism destination.
Alastair is passionate about increasing opportunities for visitors to engage with the produce that's grown in the Lockyer Valley, Mayor Milligan said.
Copies are available from the Lake Apex Visitor Information Centre, Gatton, and will hit other visitor information centres in South East Queensland this week.
