- An officer review is carried out during December 2016.
- Workshop with Council and ELT in December 2016 or January 2017 based on the officer review, issues raised by Councillors and the community.
- Report to a January or February 2017 Council meeting endorsing formal Council submission on the SEQ Regional Plan.
As ShapingSEQ is a State Government document any landowners or residents of the Lockyer Valley who have questions about the plan, including how it impacts on their properties, will need to be directed to the ShapingSEQ in the first instance. If landowners or residents are unhappy with any aspect of ShapingSEQ, please lodge a formal submission with the State Government before 3 March 2017.
Information about lodging a submission and the ability to lodge an online submission is provided at www.shapingseq.com.au
If landowners or residents wish, they can provide Council with a copy of their submission and may also wish to write directly to Council about Shaping SEQ during the consultation period. This feedback will be of value in identifying key issues for the community and shaping the formal submission Council will lodge with the State Government toward to the end of the consultation period.
