Events on offer for Seniors Week 2020
Navigating a global pandemic has been difficult for everyone, but especially our seniors.
For many, they've had to deal with isolation from their support networks, be it friends and family, for an extended period of time.
Lockyer Valley Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said 2020 is certainly a year like no other. We really want to give our seniors the opportunity to engage and connect, which is something many have lacked for several months now.We all know how vital that connection is for our mental health, which is why it was so important for us as a Council to still do what we could to offer some events for our seniors, with all the necessary safety precautions very much in place.
