Food producers wanted for Regional Flavours
Food producers wanted for Regional Flavours event
Lockyer Valley Regional Council is calling on local food producers to put their hand up for this year's Regional Flavours festival in Brisbane.
The region will once again take centre-stage at the event, to be held at the picturesque Parklands of Southbank on the weekend of July 15 - 16.
Applications are now open and Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Councillor Tanya Milligan encouraged local food producers to jump on board.
Regional Flavours offers our local food producers the opportunity to showcase their produce to a crowd of more than 80,000 food lovers over the two-day event.
As South Bank's signature food and wine festival, Council is proud to once again partner with the event to deliver the Picnic Patch precinct, which is dedicated to showcasing Lockyer Valley produce and its producers through market stalls, picnic style seating and a ready to eat menu designed by celebrity chef and Lockyer Valley Food Ambassador, Alastair McLeod.
We all know the Lockyer Valley is home to sensational products so why not show off what you have to offer to food lovers who flock to see celebrity chef demonstrations, picnic with friends and shop the Marketplace for new, innovative and delicious foods, Mayor Milligan said.
Applications close on Friday 24 March and spaces are limited to attend as part of the Lockyer Valley precinct.
Anyone interested in attending is urged to contact Council on 1300 005 872 to discuss the application process.
