Have your say on school holiday activities
Lockyer Valley Regional Council wants your school holidays to be filled with fun activities.
To do just that, Council is working with a number of local community groups to co-ordinate school holiday activities for children and young people aged between five and 17.
Council's Mayor Tanya Milligan said Council was seeking to collect a range of information, via an online survey.
We're interested in information about the types of activities, times, costs and barriers that influence your family's decision or ability to participate.
Once this information is gathered, we will then work in conjunction with community groups to see what we can bring to fruition for the community, and what might be more relevant for a private business to consider.
I would encourage anyone who would like to have their say, to please do so.
We would also like to hear from community groups that could offer a school holiday program, which we could assist in promoting, she said.
