I Got This Hat
I Got This Hat - all across Australia
On Wednesday 25 May, children Australia-wide will enjoy a delightful rendition of the children's book I Got This Hat as part of National Simultaneous Storytime.
At 10.30am, children all throughout Australia will open the pages of the book at the exact same time.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor Tanya Milligan said children in the Lockyer Valley could participate in the day at one of the region's libraries.
Whether they're in a major city or a small outback town, kids right across Australia will be reading this book and the Lockyer Valley will be no exception, Cr Milligan said.
Children are welcome to come to both the Gatton and Laidley Libraries, starting at 10.30am.
If you are five and under, come along and join in the excitement with fun activities and craft.
This will be a fun morning so don't miss your chance to take part in this event.
