Nominations now closed for the 2015 Lockyer Valley Business, Training
Nominations for the 2015 Lockyer Valley Business, Training and Apprenticeship Awards have now closed.
Mayor Steve Jones said the judging process would move to the next stage.
Judges are now assessing the nominations against the relevant criteria, which will determine the finalists, Cr Jones said.
Finalists will then be contacted to arrange on-site visits or interviews with employees, with a full list of all finalists available in the Gatton Star on 23 September.
Cr Jones said Lockyer Valley Regional Council was in the process of securing first-class entertainment to ensure the night would yet again be a resounding success.
The Awards night is a great way to reward those who have excelled over the past year and gives businesses an opportunity to network and celebrate our region's achievements, he said.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday 1 October and are available for purchase from Council's Lake Apex Visitor Information Centre.
Voting for the People's Choice Award is also open and Cr Jones encouraged residents to get their votes in.
