School holidays covered in the Lockyer Valley
There's no need to stress about the upcoming school holidays - here in the Lockyer Valley there are numerous activities to keep youngsters of all age entertained.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council has partnered with several community groups to facilitate a school holiday program designed for children aged five to 15.
Council's Mayor Tanya Milligan said the programs were an ideal boredom-buster.
There will be craft, games, computer programming, robots, experiments and challenges.
All you need is a hat, your own lunch and a water bottle. A parent or care giver will need to sign the children in and out of each event, Cr Milligan said.
