Step into Seniors Week in the Lockyer Valley
Lockyer Valley Regional Council wants local seniors to step into this year's Seniors Week celebrations.
Running over nine days, Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor Tanya Milligan said seniors played a vital role in the community.
Seniors are the foundation of the Lockyer Valley community and hold such a wealth of knowledge.
This year marks the first region-wide program and we are proud to partner with an array of Lockyer Valley community groups who have put their hand up, due to popular demand, to stage events.
It also gives our seniors the chance to connect and socialise, which is extremely important.
Seniors Week is a wonderful celebration of our regions' wisest and I look forward to seeing you there, Mayor Milligan said.
