Take a leap into the business market
Lockyer Valley Regional Council has created a Digital Work Space which provides businesses and other professionals with rooms for meetings and training opportunities.
As part of the Neilsen's Place Business Incubator, Mayor Steve Jones, said these rooms provided high speed internet with 24 hour access for members.
Located as part of Neilsen's Place in the centre of Laidley, this will give businesses a professional place to work and conduct business with facilities not generally available in a home office, he said.
You can have team meetings here, train new staff members, have business meetings with external clients, or use the co-working desks and digital technology from an office close to home and be part of a growing business community.
The space can be booked online for daily, weekly or monthly use so it really does provide the region with a convenient space.
With bookings available from 20 July, the Digital Work Space offers the following facilities:
- Shared co-working desk space
- Meeting and/or board rooms
- Small group training space/s
- High speed internet connection
- Shared printing services
- 24/7 Electronic access
In particular, this space will be extremely useful to those businesses who are just starting up and are making the transition from a home office to a more professional set up, Mayor Jones said.
This will help stimulate business growth throughout the region and continues on from the work we began with the Laidley Futures Project.
