Take a step back in time at the Laidley Heritage Weekend
Horse and carriage rides will once again be a drawcard at this year's Laidley Heritage Weekend.
The iconic township will indulge in the history and heritage of the region on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, 22-23 April.
Bring the family and come along to Das Neumann Haus and Laidley Pioneer Village & Museum.
The two-day event has lots on offer, according to Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Councillor Tanya Milligan.
"Das Neumann Haus is the place to be for markets and music on Saturday and Sunday, plus there will be plenty of children's activities to keep everyone busy.
"Annie's Place Coffee Shoppe will serve up some real treats, from pancakes to German lunches and of course, specialty coffees and cold drinks.
"The Laidley Pioneer Village and Museum will open its doors so you can enjoy beautifully renovated buildings, small machinery, tractors, vintage cars, black smith demonstrations plus for the first time, the Aussie Adventures Show with The Kangagang on Saturday.
"Experience vintage car rides and vehicles and spend the day enjoying the iconic activities of yester-year," Mayor Milligan said.
For just $3 per seat, the novelty of horse and carriage rides will no doubt be a hit with all ages.
