Your chance to win at Gatton Christmas carnival

SIX lucky people will have the chance to pocket $500 at the Gatton Christmas Carnival next Friday night.

But - you have to be there on the night to register for the draws, and, if your number is called, you only have one minute to collect your cash!

The promotion is all to thank residents for supporting local business throughout the year.

From 5.30pm next Friday, 18 December the main street of Gatton will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland.

Council's Mayor Steve Jones said the night would be a great opportunity to share the Christmas spirit with family and friends.

There will be heaps on offer throughout the event, including free stage entertainment, roving carollers and face painting.

Add to this ham wheels and heaps of rides for the kids, with wrist bands for unlimited rides up for grabs for only $5

Of course, Santa will also make an appearance, so make sure you come along!, Cr Jones said.

Snowy from River 949 will be the MC on the night and there will be live music by Island Vibes.

Winners of the Gatton Christmas Carnival Colouring Competition will also be officially announced.
