As per Queensland Government direction, the Lockyer Valley will enter a three-day lockdown from 6pm Tuesday 29 June until 6pm Friday 2 July 2021.
Due to the lockdown, all customer-facing Council facilities will be closed during this time.
The Gatton Administration Building and Laidley Customer Service Centre will be closed, however Council’s Call Centre and online services will remain operational.
The Gatton and Laidley Libraries will be closed but will continue to offer a contactless Click & Collect service. The Lockyer Valley Art Gallery will also be closed.
The Gatton Visitor Information Centre, Queensland Transport Museum, Lake Dyer and all Community Halls and facilities will be closed.
Waste Collection and disposal to households and businesses will proceed as normal and Regional Waste Facilities will remain open. All tip-shops will be closed.
The Gatton Child Care Centre will remain open for families of essential workers.
While operational tasks may take a little longer than usual during this time, we are committed to playing our part, keeping the community safe and staying connected so we can get back to a COVID-safe normal soon.
Please be patient with our team – we’re all in this together.
