Celebrate the festive season at the Mayoral Christmas Carols
The festive season is upon us again and residents are encouraged to get their best voices ready and come along to the Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols.
Proudly hosted by Lockyer Valley Regional Council and in partnership with the Lockyer Valley Ministers Association, the event will be held at the Lake Apex Parklands, Gatton from 6pm on Saturday 27 November 2021.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said the Carols were the perfect opportunity to spread Christmas cheer and enjoy the company of family and friends.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together in a safe way and connect with friends, families and our community.
“We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you at the Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols,” Mayor Milligan said.
Enjoy a mix of traditional and fun Christmas Carols performed by the Nathan Walmsley band. Gates will open at 6pm, with the Carols to commence at 7pm. BYO camp chair or picnic rug, picnic food and glow sticks and enjoy this free family event. Hot and cold drinks and ice cream will be on sale. There will also be a sausage sizzle on offer for a gold coin donation to the School Chaplaincy Program.
