QSO Livestream coming to Gatton next month
Are you a lover of music and orchestra? If so, keep the night of Saturday 12 February free for an event that is not to be missed!
The Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane will host Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s first concert for 2022, QSO Favourites, and Council is thrilled to livestream the event in the Gatton Shire Hall.
While the actual concert is underway, come along to enjoy a live broadcast on the big screen.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said while the pandemic might have taken away the joy of attending a lot of events in-person, this one was sure to bring residents some much-needed joy.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the Lockyer Valley.
“You may not be able to get to Brisbane, so we’ve brought Queensland Symphony Orchestra to you – livestreamed directly from the Concert Hall at QPAC.
“We’re committed to keeping costs as low as possible, which is why it’s only $5 per person, and you can also purchase food and drinks for a memorable event,” Mayor Milligan said.
Conducted by Johannes Fritzsch, those in attendance are encouraged to put on their Sunday best for a cultural and affordable night out.
The livestream event will be held at the Gatton Shire Hall on Saturday 12 February 2022. Doors open 6.45pm, with the performance to commence at 7.15pm for introductions and 7.30pm the music will begin. The event is expected to conclude around 9.30pm.
BYO food/drinks are not permitted. Tickets can be pre-purchased at https://lockyervalleytickets.com.au/
