Have your say on our local libraries
Lockyer Valley Regional Council has launched the Lockyer Valley Libraries’ Customer Survey – and Council wants you to have a say!
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Community Services Portfolio Councillor, Michael Hagan said the survey was all about improving the services both facilities currently had on offer.
“Lockyer Valley Libraries provide fantastic resources and activities for our communities; however, we want to know what you like and what you think we could do better.
“How and why do you use the library? What are your expectations of the facilities and what do you hope to achieve from your visit?
“Our libraries have been operating on reduced hours since COVID-19 closures and we are taking this opportunity to determine if there is sufficient interest from residents for the libraries to open later a weeknight, or on a Saturday.
“As a Council, we remain committed to maximising what’s currently on offer at our libraries and this information will prove invaluable in ensuring we can do just that.
“The survey should only take around five minutes, so please take a moment to have your say,” Cr Hagan said.
Four $50 Why Leave Town Gift Cards are up for grabs for those who complete the survey. To have your say, visit www.lockyervalley.qld.gov.au/library-survey, or collect a paper survey from your local library.
The survey will close at midnight on Friday 1 July 2022.
