Digital Literacy Sessions help residents in the world of technology

If you’re feeling a little left behind in this digital age, Lockyer Valley Libraries can bring you up to speed with today’s basic technologies.

Digital Literacy Sessions are on at the Gatton and Laidley Libraries, and Lockyer Valley Regional Council Community Facilities Portfolio Councillor, Michael Hagan said Library staff were well-equipped to deliver support to the region’s residents who struggled with technology.

“Simply bring along your devices and technology questions to the sessions.

“There are no set topics, with library staff on-hand to guide you through your technological queries.

“Not only does this provide attendees the opportunity to gain knowledge from our library staff, but others in the session as well.

“The sessions are held at both Gatton and Laidley Libraries and serve as a perfect opportunity to introduce and improve everyone’s access to online information and services,” Cr Hagan said.

Come along to the Gatton and Laidley Library at 11am on the first and third Wednesday of the month. Upcoming sessions include 6 July, 20 July, 3 August and 17 August.
