Council’s Customer Experience team in the running for top gong
Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s Customer Experience team are in the running for not just one, but several National Awards.
The team were recently announced as National finalists in a range of categories in the esteemed National Local Government Customer Service Awards, run through the National Local Government Customer Service Network.
Not only are the Customer Experience Team finalists in the Team of the Year Award, but Customer Experience Officer Rebecca Sippel is a finalist in the Individual of the Year Award and Council’s Information Communication Technology (ICT) “The Source” project was nominated on behalf of the amazing work done by ICT for all of Council’s benefit in the Innovation Award.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan, praised the work of not only the Customer Experience Team, but all teams across Council.
“Our Customer Experience team continually go above and beyond to ensure the needs of the Lockyer Valley community are met to the highest standard possible.
“This recognition highlights not only the importance, but overall benefits of working collaboratively and the positive outcomes this can generate.
“To have an individual, team or cross-organisational project acknowledged on a national scale is something to be incredibly proud of, and I congratulate everyone involved on becoming a finalist,” Mayor Milligan said.
The winners will be announced at the National Conference on 10 November.
