North Street to resemble a winter wonderland for Christmas Carnival!
The Lockyer Valley Christmas Carnival is set to resemble a festive winter wonderland as Gatton’s North Street is transformed for a fun-filled family night.
Make sure you’re free on Friday 16 December for festive entertainment, including stage shows, cookie decorating and plum pudding eating competitions.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said the event was the perfect opportunity to celebrate Christmas together.
“This is set to be a magical night and we’re so excited to be doing something this much-loved event hasn’t seen before.
“There will also be an opportunity to finish your last-minute Christmas shopping, with a variety of artisan market stalls, as well as an array of delicious food and beverage vendors,” Mayor Milligan said.
The North Pole experience will also plate up a Christmas dress-up competition, a visit from Santa himself and more.
The stage program will feature a mix of performances by local dance groups and a mix of traditional Christmas Carols and other great songs performed by local musicians.
Mark it in your diary and get into the spirit of Christmas with a massive night of festivities.
