Council’s Customer Experience Team takes out National Award!
Lockyer Valley Regional Council CEO, Ian Church, said the Council was proud to be leading the way when it comes to customer service.
“Delivering effective and efficient customer service is something we pride ourselves on, and clearly Lockyer Valley Regional Council is setting the benchmark in this space.
“This team of individuals are constantly striving to improve our customer service delivery and have worked hard as a team to achieve this.
“To take out an Award at this level is an incredible achievement and something our organisation is very proud of, especially over a period impacted by COVID-19 and staff shortages,” he said.
The team were recently announced as National finalists in a range of categories in the esteemed National Local Government Customer Service Awards, run through the National Local Government Customer Service Network.
“Congratulations also must go to Customer Experience Officer Rebecca Sippel, who was a finalist in the Individual of the Year Award and Council’s Information Communication Technology (ICT) “The Source” project, which was nominated on behalf of the amazing work done by ICT for all of Council’s benefit in the Innovation Award.
“Being named as a finalist on a national level is an achievement in itself, and I commend the Customer Experience Team, and all teams across our organisation, for the work they do in making our region the wonderful place it is,” Ian said.
