Latest Round of Community Grant Winners Announced
Fourteen community and sporting groups will share in $40,000 after successfully applying for Round 1 of Council’s 2022-2023 Major Community Grants Program.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said the funding provided a welcomed financial boost to those organisations who were the backbone of our region.
“Our community groups are integral to our region, and it is always exciting to see the benefits this funding provides.
“Council offers two rounds of community grants each calendar year and I encourage anyone looking to make improvements benefiting the community to apply for round one of next year’s community grants program, which will open in February,” Mayor Milligan said.

Applications can only be received from not-for-profit community organisations that meet the grant’s criteria as outlined on Council’s website.
Projects must be completed within 12 months of grant approval.
Council is just one funding source open to local community and sporting groups, with Council also providing links to a range of opportunities to help not-for-profits get a share of the millions on offer each year.
