Applications for Major Community Grants closing soon
Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s Major Community Grants Program is still open for applications, but you will need to get in quick!
Applications for round two of Council’s 2022-23 Community Grants program will close on 15 March.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said the initiative was instrumental in assisting not-for-profit community organisations in delivering projects and initiatives to benefit the Lockyer Valley community.
“Council welcomes applications for an array of projects that will allow not-for-profit community organisations to undertake projects, activities or events which benefit the Lockyer Valley community.
“Council awards successful applicants with non-recurrent grants of between $1000 and $4000, which can certainly go a long way towards making your project or initiative come to life.
“As a Council, we are always keen to invest in community groups, where possible, that provide an ongoing benefit to the wider community.
“Sometimes an extra boost can make a huge difference,” Mayor Milligan said.
