RADF funding open for Round 2

Two grant programs from Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) are now open for applications from groups or individuals.

Round 2 of Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is now open, with a closing date of Wednesday, 31 May 2023 at 3pm. Individuals and groups are encouraged to apply for Round 2 of RADF funding to support projects that meet local arts and cultural priorities.

The Professional Development Quick Response grant is an out-of-round grant where the funding is available until fully allocated. This grant provides professional or emerging artists, artworks, cultural workers or project coordinators who reside in the Lockyer Valley an opportunity to apply for up to $1000 of funding to support their professional development, skills development workshops, mentorships, master classes and seminars. This funding round is open until 19 June 2023.

Lockyer Valley Community Services Portfolio Councillor Michael Hagan said RADF grants had already provided a wealth of assistance to local individuals and groups.

“This grant funding can provide a massive helping hand to your project or idea, and I encourage those eligible to see if RADF could help them.

“Many of our region’s community groups and artists have seen their projects come to life thanks to RADF assistance and I encourage anyone who is eligible to get their applications in,” Cr Hagan said.

RADF is a partnership between Lockyer Valley Regional Council and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
