See ‘Energy in Motion’ at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery

Unique and abstract works by a local dynamic duo are next up in the impressive line-up of works on display at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery.

Titled “Energy in Motion”, the exhibition by artists Nury Barros and Tracey Schaeper will be on display from 20 May – 9 July 2023.

Lockyer Valley Community Services Portfolio Councillor Michael Hagan said Council was always proud to offer such opportunities to a broad range of artists.

“This is a unique exhibition that highlights an explosion of vibrant colour, energy and movement.

“I would encourage all residents to come along and enjoy the experience.

“With unique textures and compositions using mixed media, acrylics and alcohol inks, it really is a special exhibition.

“These pieces encompass the artists’ inspired creative art journey, their love of exploring new processes and styles and learning how to ‘go with the flow’ of the mediums used.

“It’s exciting to welcome artists of this calibre to exhibit to the Lockyer Valley community,” Cr Hagan said.

See “Energy in Motion” at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery from 20 May until 9 July 2023. The Art Gallery can be found within the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre, Gatton and is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am - 4pm and is closed on public holidays.
