Spotlight on artists at Lockyer Valley Art Gallery’s new exhibition
The latest exhibition set to shine at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery will put the spotlight on our region’s local artists.
Titled “Heartland”, come along and see for yourself a special body of work.
Lockyer Valley Community Services Portfolio Councillor Michael Hagan said Council was looking forward to hosting this very meaningful exhibition.
“Our Council is proud to shine a light on our local artists – who are most definitely deserving of their time in the spotlight at the Gallery.
“This exhibition is formed in a variety of media and is inspired by the land that holds our hearts – the Lockyer Valley.
“The Lockyer Valley is full of stories and beauty, and this exhibition provides a challenge to showcase what brings us together and the unique attributes of our place and people.
"Connecting with people and the environment brings about so many benefits, as well as educating those who come along to witness the distinct beauty of our region.
“Council is keen to ensure the community has opportunities to appreciate arts, heritage and cultural diversity, and this is certainly a special exhibition,” Cr Hagan said.
