Bring your Christmas cheer to the Mayoral Christmas Carols
Santa’s stop in the Lockyer Valley is still a few months off yet, but planning for the Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols is well underway.
Kick off the start of the festive season at the much-loved event, to be held at the Gatton Shire Hall from 5.30pm on Saturday 25 November 2023.
The Carols are once again proudly hosted by Lockyer Valley Regional Council, in partnership with the Lockyer Valley Ministers Association.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said Council was inviting locals to get in the spirit and come along.
“The Mayoral Christmas Carols are one of our region’s biggest annual Christmas events.
“We’re inviting all residents to come together and sing Christmas carols and festive tunes at what is sure to be a memorable event for the whole family.
“I can’t wait to mark the start of the festive season with Lockyer Valley residents, so let’s celebrate 2023 at the Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols,” Mayor Milligan said.
Kick off the festive season in style with a mix of traditional and fun Christmas Carols performed by the Nathan Walmsley band at the Gatton Shire Hall. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the night with the stage program commencing at 6:30pm.
Youngsters will also have a chance to enter the Christmas Carnival Colouring Competition - and write their letter to Santa before the show commences, with a designated children’s craft area in the foyer set aside for such special Christmas work!
