Celebrate a Aussie Christmas at the Lockyer Valley Christmas Carnival!

Gatton’s North Street will transform into a true-blue Aussie Christmas for the annual Lockyer Valley Christmas Carnival.

You’re invited to come along for a festive offering of activities, games, live entertainment, Christmas markets and more!

This much-loved, fun-filled family night will take place on Friday 15 December, with festive entertainment, including stage shows and plum pudding eating competitions.

The Carnival is all about coming together to celebrate the Christmas season as a community, Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said.

“We will have Santa himself making a special appearance, along with his reindeer which is sure to excite our littlest residents.

“A win in one of our many Christmas competitions will mean ultimate holiday bragging rights around the dinner table.

“Our Plum Pudding Competition is also making a return, along with a Best Aussie Christmas-themed Dress Competition for children 12 and under.

“What a fun and festive night this will be – we can’t wait to see you there!” Mayor Milligan said.

The stage program will feature performances by local dance groups and a mix of traditional Christmas Carols and other great songs performed by local musicians.

There’s no need to eat beforehand, with the Gatton Lions Club, Gatton Scouts, the Rotary Club of Lockyer Valley and Girl Guides on hand with a range of delicious dinner options available to purchase, as well as pizza and garlic bread to mini pancakes and churros.

Mark it in your diary and get into the spirit of Christmas with a massive night of festivities.
