Council to host Grant Writing Workshop
The next Community Grant Writing Workshop is locked in!
Hosted by Lockyer Valley Regional Council, local not-for-profit community or sporting groups who would welcome extra cash to fund projects, activities or upgrades, or assistance when it comes to grant applications are invited to come along.
Set to be held from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday 14 March at the Gatton Shire Hall, Council’s CEO Ian Church said this initiative was all about putting the spotlight on just what makes a grant successful.
“Join us and discover how to write a successful grant, how to write acquittals and good practices for grant record-keeping that can set you up for future grant writing success.
“More specifically, the session will cover information on where to find grants, getting “grant ready”, tips for success, project planning/delivery and acquittals.
“Facilitated by CPR Group, the workshop is timed to align with the opening of Council’s next Major Community Grants round on 15 March.
“If you are a member of a local community group, please take advantage of this free event.”
