Youth Week 2024
Lockyer Valley Regional Council has big plans for Youth Week 2024!
Council continues to work behind the scenes with local youth service providers to present an exciting program for this year, a Council spokesperson said.
“Youth Week runs from 7- 13 April, and our multi-day event will celebrate the achievements and contributions of young people in the region, link them to local service providers, and offer an array of activities to keep them entertainment,” they said.
“If you would like to get involved by holding an information stall or small activity at our Youth Week Expo on 10 April, we would love to hear from you.”
The current schedule of events includes:
- Outdoor Movie Night on Monday, 8 April.
- Youth Expo on Wednesday, 10 April – Ferrari Park, Laidley – 10am-2pm – mobile games trailer and VR, laser tag, service provider stalls, food vans.
- Skateboarding Jam Session on Friday, 12 April – Gatton Skate Park – 11am-2pm – two-hour skateboarding jam session (scooter, BMX and roller are all welcome), music, food vans – BYO helmet.
