Major Community Grants initiative now open
Lockyer Valley Regional Council is pleased to announce its latest round of Major Community Grants is now open.
A Council spokesperson said grants of between $1000 and $4000 are available for not-for-profit community organisations across the Lockyer Valley.
“The Lockyer Valley Community Grants program funds local projects, events and activities which help develop resilient, adaptive, and vibrant communities while contributing to the social well-being of its residents, workers and visitors.
“Grants will be awarded to applications that focus on community development, arts and cultural development, social services, recreational services and environmental initiatives.
“Applications are assessed on merit and the availability of funds.
“This program is designed to provide financial assistance to a range of organisations across the Lockyer Valley,” the spokesperson said.

- Gatton Table Tennis Association Inc.
- Glenore Grove Public Hall Association Inc.
- Helidon State School P&C Association
- Laidley Golf Club Inc.
- Lockyer Valley Art Society Inc.
- Lockyer Valley Netball Association Inc.
- Lowood and Gatton Gymnastics Inc.
- Murphys Creek Neighbourhood Centre Association Inc.
- Murphys Creek Progress Association Inc.
- Blenheim Public Hall Association Inc.
Applications are now open and will close on 15 April 2024.
