Countdown is on for Skateboarding competition

The countdown is well and truly on for the Rumble AM Series Skateboarding Competition.

The exciting event will be held at the Gatton Skatepark on Saturday 22 June – with the finishing touches now complete on this not-to-be-missed competition.

Lockyer Valley Regional Council, together with BMD Rumble Pro Tour will bring the Rumble AM Series back to home turf – and you’re invited to come along.

Hosting the best competitors from Queensland and interstate was a major coup, Council’s Sport and Recreation Portfolio Councillor Anthony Wilson said.

“What a great opportunity to watch the best local skateboarders battle it out against those from Queensland and interstate.

“With a spot on the highly coveted BMD Rumble Pro Tour up for grabs, our best local skateboarders will no doubt put their top tricks on show.

“Come along for what’s sure to be an exciting afternoon that highlights some of the nation’s leading talent in this skilled sport.

“Better yet, the competition is open for anyone to register, with a range of prizes available.

“Register via the Rumble website for the opportunity to showcase your skills amongst some of the leading talent in the region.

“Spectating is free, and food and drinks will be available to purchase, so make the most of this great school holiday event,” Cr Wilson said.

Age groups start from 9 and Under divisions, with entries all the way up to Opens.

TIME: This event runs from 4pm – 7.30pm.
