Applications now open for 2025 Lockyer Valley Art Gallery schedule
Emerging and established artists are encouraged to put their hands up to secure an exhibition at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery for 2025.
Lockyer Valley Libraries and Galleries Portfolio Councillor Julie Reck said Council looked forward to once again showcasing works from both emerging and established artists.
“The Lockyer Valley Art Gallery is a professional exhibition space and we’re excited to once again welcome applications.
“Our Gallery is dedicated to highlighting an array of works, while also ensuring meaningful connections with our audience.
“We’re always looking to present a diverse program, so we select exhibitions that explore a range of ideas, mediums, and practices.
“Ensuring a space for local emerging and established artists to exhibit their work is important, and I am proud of the work our Council is doing to promote and build capacity within the arts throughout the Lockyer Valley,” Cr Reck said.
Exhibitions will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Artistic and creative excellence and integrity
- Cultural significance or relevance
- Audience development
- Spatial capacity
- Other consideration
Vacancies for the 2025 exhibition calendar include various dates throughout the year.
