Council Pop-Up stall
Council will be attending the Plainland Markets this Sunday, 23 February.
Council’s Pop-Up stall is a great opportunity to not only meet Councillors and Council staff, but to also ask questions, provide feedback on consultation projects and stay up-to-date on Council initiatives.

Half basketball court coming to Gatton
In exciting news, a half basketball court is coming to Lake Apex, Gatton!
Set to be completed by early April (weather permitting), the project features a reversible tower for both basketball and netball, plus a commercial-grade paint solution for high performance playing.
The new addition will be conveniently located adjacent to the carpark at the skatepark.
Rate Notices issued
Council has issued rates notices for the period 1 January through to 30 June 2025, with payment due on 5 March 2025.
Any resident who has changed address or applied for a pensioner rebate after 24 January 2025 is asked to contact Council to confirm details.
If you have subscribed to receive your rates via email and can’t locate it, please check your spam inbox. Anyone who hasn’t received their rates by 14 February 2025 is asked to contact Council’s Rates Department at mailbox@lvrc.qld.gov.au or call 1300 005 872.
Community Grants now open
Round 2 of our Major Community Grants program is now open.
Grants of $1000 to $4000 are on offer for not-for-profit community and sporting groups to deliver activities, events or one-off projects that enhance the liveability, health and well-being of the Lockyer Valley community.
