Come along to the next Committee Coaching Series workshop

Workshop Four of Council’s Committee Coaching Series is just around the corner!

Lockyer Valley Regional Council will host the next workshop, titled Facility Development: Creating Inclusive, Accessible and Viable Clubs next month.

Council’s Sport and Recreation Portfolio Councillor, Anthony Wilson said this was an important opportunity to dive into inclusivity in sports.

“We really want to encourage our local sporting groups to make sure people of all ages and from all backgrounds and abilities feel both welcomed and respected.

“Creating a supportive environment that encourages positive social and health outcomes is so valuable, so we’re inviting all our local sporting bodies to come along and join us as we put a spotlight on this important topic.

“While the content is primarily focused on sporting clubs, committee members from other community groups are also welcome,” Cr Wilson said.
