See you at the 2025 Lockyer Valley Heritage Festival
The 2025 Lockyer Valley Heritage Festival is once again gearing up to showcase the Lockyer Valley’s rich and vibrant history.
Immerse yourself in yesteryear on Saturday, 12 April with a host of activities and entertainment at Das Neumann Haus, Gatton & District Historical Village, and Laidley Pioneer Village.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s Tourism Portfolio Councillor Julie Reck said the family-friendly event offers a chance to enjoy a fun-filled outing that won’t break the bank.
“This is your chance to step back in time and experience history in action.
“Join us for a day filled with fun, festivities, and fascinating demonstrations of skills from days gone by.
“You can also watch woodworking, blacksmithing, sheep shearing, spinning and weaving, butter making, and more.
“A major attraction is sure to be the 100+-year-old stationary engines and tractors rumbling to life, the vintage cars display and classic kids' games and activities.
“There will also be a small animal display, sure to delight visitors of all ages,” Cr Reck said.
Entry is by donation to the Laidley Pioneer Village and Gatton District Historical Society. For the full program, visit the What’s On page at www.luvyalockyer.com.au.
