Roadside mowing
Council’s roadside mowing crews are working six days a week to get on top of the fast-growing grass across more than 1500kms of roads we're responsible for.
We understand the urgency to get to all areas and thank the community for its patience as our crews work hard to manage this large task!
Food licenses issued
Did you know Council has issued 184 food licenses between July and November last year? That includes issuing seven new or amended food business licenses and undertaking 30 licensed food business inspections.
Defects completed
Council’s infrastructure crews completed a total of 165 road defects in the month of November, despite the continued wet weather.

Containers for Change
During the holidays, recycling bins can fill up quickly. Make room and pocket some extra cash by separating empty bottles and taking them to a Container Recycling Scheme drop-off point, such as Return-It on Industrial Road, Gatton or the Laidley and Gatton Transfer Stations (with your scheme ID).
