Come along to the QTM reopening
Come along on Sunday, 13 April as the Queensland Transport Museum reopens! Head down and check out the must-see exhibition showcasing original military vehicles dating back to World War I. From 10am – 2pm there will be free entry for the family-friendly event, with kid’s activities also available.

Laidley Pool closure
Due to recent flood impacts, the Dal Ryan War Memorial Swimming Pool in Laidleywill remain closed until the start of the next summer season, being September 2025, to allow for repairs.
Council is working with the pool manager, BlueFit, to ensure affected users are informed. We thank the community for its understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Enjoy the Lockyer Valley Heritage Festival
The annual Heritage Festival is on again this weekend, showcasing the Lockyer Valley’s rich and vibrant history.
Come along on Saturday, 12 April and join us at the Laidley Pioneer Village, Gatton District and Historical Society, and Das Neumann Haus.
Each venue is providing unique entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
