How to make release payment

Where can payments be made?

Fees are to be paid at our Gatton & Laidley offices and need to be paid prior to releasing your animals from the pound.

Fees cannot be paid at the pound. You must present your receipt and identification to have your animal(s) released.

When can they be paid?

Payment can be made for the release of the animals between 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. For same day payment and release of the animal, please attend Council to make payment before 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Payment can be made the day before release of the animal but this will incur an extra days maintenance fee to be charged to the fees already incurred.

Gatton Pound information

Animals are released from the Gatton Pound, which is located on Treatment Plant Road, Gatton.

The times for animal releases from the pound are:

• 8.30am - 10am Monday to Friday
• 2pm - 4pm Monday to Friday

A map can be obtained for directions to the pound at Council's administration building when you pay your fees.
