Black Summer Bushfires 2019-2020
A Local Recovery Plan is developed to ensure the people, property and the environment impacted by a disaster continue to recover from it; be it in the immediate aftermath or over the long-term. The Plan documents the supports, reconstruction and restoration needed, the actions to be taken, and the measures of success for delivering on the Plan for the communities affected.
In response to the Black Summer Bushfires of 2019, the Locker Valley Local Recovery Group developed the 'Bushfire Recovery Plan - Eastern Queensland Bushfires', 7 October - 19 December 2019' (PDF).
