Wheelie Bins and Waste Collection
Lockyer Valley Regional Council provides a dual bin waste and recycling service to your household.
This service is mandatory to all habitable residences deemed to be within a serviceable area.

| General Waste Collection (Red Lid Bin) | Red Lid Bin- What can go in my waste bin? WEEKLY - bins can be serviced anytime between 6am and 6pm and collection times can vary without prior notification. | |
| Recycling Collection (Yellow Lid Bin) | Yellow Lid Bin- What can go in my recycling bin? FORTNIGHTLY - bins can be serviced anytime between 6am and 6pm and collection times can vary without prior notification. | |
| FOGO Collection (Green Lid Bin) | Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) Trial includes a total of almost 1000 homes in selected areas across both Gatton and Laidley. Please contact Council for more information about the trial and collection days. | |
| Public Holidays | Bins are serviced as per usual on all public holidays including Christmas day, Boxing day, New Year's day, Good Friday and Easter Monday. Bins may be collected at an earlier time than usual on public holidays, so it is recommended that you place your bin/s out the night before on this occasion. Council can also provide a dual bin waste and recycling service to Commercial businesses if required (conditions may apply).
