BIOGRAPHY
Cr Anthony Wilson was elected at the Local Government election in March 2024 and is serving his first term as Councillor.
Lockyer Valley born and raised, Cr Wilson believes he is fortunate to live in this part of the world, and his goal as a Councillor is to ensure each area of the region is given equal opportunity to thrive.
A finance broker by trade, Cr Wilson has been running his own small business for the past 10 years, giving him a deep understanding of the pressures facing small business owners.
He was brought up with the core values of respect, honesty and integrity, and the community can expect those same values from him as a Councillor.
Outside of work, Council and spending time with his wife Kirsty and their three beautiful young daughters, Cr Wilson’s passion lies on the sporting field. If there is a sporting event on, he loves nothing more than taking his family along to support their local clubs.
